Classe 1900Reserve Soldier – Mobilised 1914 -Matricule: 1438

Starts military career with his military service in 1901 with the 117e RI

1st August 1902 is promoted to Caporal and transferred to the 115e and finishes his service in 20th September 1902.

Becomes a reservist with the 115e and 315e RI and is promoted to Sergent on 1st May 1903.

Following a successful period with the 115e/315e in 1907 he is promoted to Sous Lieutenant de reserve on 17th July 1908, then to Lieutenant de reserve 5 years later.

Moblised in August 1914 with the 22e Compagnie of the 315e RI.

Promoted to temporary Capitaine on 4th June 1915 when the Captaine Roy is transferred to the head of 5e Bat

Died 6th September 1916 at Verdun from grenade shrapnel wounds.

Whilst leading the 22e compagnie during an attack near on point 1795 and 1599 near Fleury devant Douaumont.
